HEMOdiss is a bipolar generator with an integrated peristaltic pump designed for exclusive use with HEMOdiss single-use bipolar devices for simultaneous delivery of radiofrequency (RF) energy and saline solution for hemostasis of soft tissue and bone during surgery.
It is indicated for general and oncological surgery procedures (both laparoscopic and open), orthopedic, trauma, thoracic, and spine surgery.
The generator simultaneously delivers RF power and saline solution to the single-use bipolar device when it is
properly connected to the unit and the red activation button on the back of the handpiece is pressed.
The flow rate is independent of the RF power selected and can be adjusted by pressing the corresponding
buttons with steps from to 10 located on the front panel of the generator.
To allow the removal of smoke, liquids, and debris throughout the operation.
Pressing the dedicated button automatically fills the HEMOdiss single-use bipolar device with saline solution before use and after it is properly connected to the unit.
